Thread: Third Age Totalwar! 2.0 released ( lord of the rings Mod ) - my first battle

hello

i was bored of muskets and cannons, so i looked at this again :]


i know i have posted about the Third Age Mod before, for Med 2 kingdoms, but a new version has just been released, and blimey, they have done a stonking job.

if you don't know its a MOD that totally converts Med 2 Total war kingdoms into Lord of the Rings, not just skins, a campaign and mission campaign.

take a look, this is a battle between Gondor (me ) and Isengard (them), very basic battle but shows how some of the units look.

well it plays exactly the same as medieval totalwar 2 + kingdoms expansion, but the factions have been changed to feel like the lord of the rings factions, orcs more of a rabble, Gondor more formations etc.

i must admit the campaign map is amazing and the changed 3d models are excellent, alot of work has gone into this.

Looks pretty sweet. Though I only play Total war battles when I have the time to sink into it otherwise I tend to rush and die a lot lol

The best thing about this MOD is the fact you can still play the orginal game as it installs to a MOD folder.
