Modern Warfare 2 - Free Weekend

Steam is currently offering a free weekend for MW2. Just go to the "My games" tab on steam, scroll down to the "Not Installed" section and you should find it there.

I'm currently installing it (a free weekend is a free weekend!)....although it is roughly 12GB >_<.

I'm very, very tempted so that I can compare the PC version to the 360 one, but 12 Gb...that's a lot of downloading

PC version is generally slightly quicker paced, other than that is petty much the same...apart from the metric ton of hax

Good that I don't play this game anymore. Couldn't stand "no dedicated servers" and hackers everywhere.

I can count on one hand the number of hackers i seen in all the games i played which was a fair amount.

To be fair, there probably weren't as many hackers as you counted, maybe some were just really good?

Although to be fair, I think I encountered about 14/15ish people using aimbots/ wallhacks

i stop playing the game when i got BC2 and abgabba is right too many hackers and stupid "no dedicated servers"
but Callsigns where fun to collect and Nuke!!!!!!!!!!!Love when it goes off

Arse, only one day left! It takes a bloody day to download 12GB on my connection!

I would've liked to have hopped on the servers with you lot for a bit, guess I'll have to just stick to the 360 version which I never play anyway...

I stopped playing MW2 in december, had a little revival in about jan/feb, then went back to CoD4, then onto BC2, now back to CoD4 again. See a theme here?
