Is there any way we can stop the server crashes?

It's just every single time the server crashes, we have to rebuild it with non-BFBers. It's also hurting our server everytime it crashes, as people will be much more likely to avoid the server because of the crashes.

Is there anything that can be done about this?

it seems 2 crash more than other servers i av been on, is getting very annoying and definatley discouraging ppl 2 play on r servers

Has the server been updated to R7?

We have just distributed a new server version named R7 to the server hosts.

Early signs from the hosts are good with 20% less load on the server CPU, improved hit detection, Veteran rank handling is fixed so you should get your M1 Garand back now plus some other fixes to better help the server hosting companies and better management of Punkbuster ID's.

There is also a longshot way which seems to help other servers. Use 2 of the reserved slots so there is only a 30 man limit. I heard this helps but wouldn't be suprised if it didn't.

Yeah, having 2 reserved slots would avoid crashes due to surcharge, but I think our problems are mostly coming from the game itself.

i disagree, when in the AM i am playing, noone else seems to be around, the servers i play on never crash. These are not multiplay servers. I play up to 8 rounds without a crash. On ours it seems we have a crash (conquest only) every 2-3 rounds.

Yeah I agree....It just appears to be our server. I haven't experienced this problem on any other multiplayer server.

Is it just our Conquest server or does it happen on Rush too?

Has anyone played on any other MP hosted servers to see if they crash as much?

i have never had a rush server crash, and when playing on other conquest servers, they dont seem to crash, but i dont remember if they are MP or not as i usually just look for low ping

I've played on plenty of other Rush and some Conquest servers and never had a crash just seems to me to be the BFB Conquest server
