Flashlights - A polite request

Please do not use them on our server they are a total pain in the arse.

Agreed about flash light, but the laser is bloody annoying as well.

Least with the laser its no where near as bother-sum as a flash light is.
Tho for the record lasers only work for hip firing yet I see players taking them on long range rifles where it has no effect

Flash lights as far as I'm concerned are just pathetic in game. Day light map and get blinded from 15foot away.... I reckon it will just get abused as it is 1 of the few things to really give players an advantage in bf3.

They have the effect of blinding whoever you're pointing it at, which may be useful in some circumstances. The torch, on the other hand, is always annoying, which is why I use it at all times.

Exactly. Your abusing the fact that Dice decided to let the torch be as bright in day light as it is in the night maps, that's nothing to be proud of.

I wouldn't say it was abusing it, seeing as nobody else seems affected by it anyway. I've shone the torch directly into the faces of my enemy while shooting them, only for them to casually gun me down moments later.

Using the RPG to spam the crap out of the escalators on Metro is what I would deem abuse, but we all have our peeves
