    FAO BFB BC2 players.

Here's a post for the members who play Bad company 2 server.

It would be ever so helpful if you would put the -BFB- tags in your name. Whether you are a former member, longtime member or just a lurker you are allowed to use the BFB tag.

It would be helpful in a number of ways.

First off it would show other members and they could squad wih you or you could squad with them.

Second when server kicks are being made the first thing I look for is the BFB tag I don;t bother looking at names. Also other server admins etc might not remember you if you have been away a long time and could accidentally kick you.

I still see some members not using the tags so if you could stick them in the clantag option that would be most appreciated.

Please remember to use -BFB- and nothing else. There are other clans who use the the BFB clantag. We do not want to be identified with those clans.

How it took one member 6 individual requests, his own team mates telling him to, and a server wide request to him to change the tag I'll never know.

Also when you ask for a kick please be patient as it takes a few seconds for the kick to take place.

Also seeming as voip is not working then for more added enjoyment use Ts3. If you feel it too noisy in the main channel you can create your own channel for smaller numbers.

    Thanks for Reading.

I second what Redders has said. And I'd also like to ask people to use in game VoIP as much as possible - one of the things that got me into joining a community was the banter when in a squad.

It's action time: I'm now trawling the web looking for a decent headset so i can treat you guys to my strange accent cocktail of Scottish gruff, Glesga slang and teen whining.

While we're on about squadplay... we seem to have forgotten how it's done. Sniping/tank whoring a million miles from your team, isn't really helpful. ALWAYS spawn on your squad, ALWAYS attack/defend together, and ALWAYS spam as many nades as humanly possible.

    /3 golden squad tips.

I have to admit that I'm partial to sniping, just my kind of gameplay at the moment I guess, but I will always try and travel with my squad and use my scope to help spot for them and defend them as they take points. I'll also make sure to help out by changing class when I can see that the squad mates are short of a medic or ammo.

I was in a squad with 3 snipers the other day... I always spawned on them too late to realise I would be in the trees on the edge of the map... Drop first aid kit (why not take advantige of a little whoring) and run a few miles into the action

Note to self: Check where squad members are before spawning on them...

    Quoted for truth.

Any BFB member will quote to how chilled out and level headed I am.... but a team of snipers or lone wolfs really winds me up!

Well said Weets. It's a great help if squad leaders mark the objectives too, not everyone has a mic, so it's a big help to place an attack/defend order on a control point.

Umm how about some even teams? Just seen a 10 vs 7 game (even mentioned on ts) with the opposing team spawn raping with tanks. If your going to put off people already part of the community your hardly creating a good environment for others? Made me and a few others leave..

First thing once functioning admin tools are released: auto balance- tick!

Autobalance is enabled; it's the server code that's broke. I think it balances the teams at the end of each round, which is pretty pointless.
