    BC2 Problems

Does anyone else have an issue where they seem to take a while to load between rounds?

Like for example when a new round starts, by the time i get in, the first flags are usually taken and theres no vehicles left at base. So other must be loading a good bit faster than me.

Also i thought maybe the gfx settings are to do with it, but i've got a 5870 and the default settings are at medium. Theres people with worse cards and on high settings.....

So does anyone else have a 5870 and care to share what settings you have it on?

    Cheers

The settings of the card doesn;t make a differnce. Until ATI patch it or Dice do the Nvidia boys will always load faster. THis is one of the few games maybe the only one where I am one of the last to load up.

By the time I get intot he game the other boys have already squadded up.

Also whether i use my 775 or i7 it makes no difference. Yet on Dirt 2 or Coh etc I am on e of the first 8 times out of 10. I tried it on 9,10,11, low setting, high settings I am still one of the last. It just one of those things.

Pour vous, la solution (for Steam users, anyway):

Problem #5.2 Map loads too slow (it takes minutes to load a Bad Company multiplayer map)
Solution: Open up your ‘my games’ tab in steam, right click on the Bad Company 2 selection, go to ‘properties’ and then click on the tab for “local Files” and then click the button for “verify integrity of game cache” it will take a little while but once this is completed the game should start loading properly as it was originally.

Hopefully that'll work for you guys!

I'm having a graphical issue where bits of terrain e.g. rocks appear on some maps where they just shouldn't be and kinda flicker. You can pass through them but they seem to appear randomly. I dunno if it is to do with my high gfx settings or what, has anybody else experienced this?

When you say 'reinstalled', did you remove the old drivers properly?

1.Uninstall old drivers - DONT REBOOT
    2. Run Driversweeper - REBOOT
    3. Install new drivers
