BC2 Problems

im having a sound problem with bc2, i load the game up and the lobby has sound however if i play the sp or mp i have no sound, any ideas?

lol, you are lucky you can even play, there appears to be no fix for my problem which is when it loads a map or mission for MP and SP respectively, it crashes to the desktop after 2-6 seconds of recurring sound. Can any light be shed on this?

had that with left 4 dead brian. sound would go into a loop and then crash the game . i had to download drivers for my sound card for that problem. thrasher i would probably think that is a similar problem. that is if u both have sound cards?

However since you started a topic about sound.... I had some problems with cracking noises during the game play. It was so annoying that I couldn't play more that 2 min. It happened both on my XFi Musicxtreme and USB cards. The solution was simple - reduce the main sound level in the game from 1 to about 0.6. Now it works OK.

I wonder if any of you experience the same thing

how do i find out if i have a sound card?
