BC2 - "PB INIT Failure" Kick

Here is a handy thread, for anyone who is getting kicked from servers with that annoying message saying something about a "PB INIT Failure".

Well, seems like there is a conflict between client PB and Server PB ever since the EA Master Server came back online a while ago after a short outage. Fix is... Update PB on your servers manually if you are a server Op.

Also I guess this serves as a notice to our orange people, in case our server is messing around (I dunno what it's like, haven't been on it yet )

EDIT: Just thought I'd add this - you must also uninstall the Beta client and update your BC2 PB to the latest version using the latest PB Setup found on evenbalance.com (the info is written in the in-game banner at the bottom of the screen, on the main menu when you start up BC2).

If this is the case then obvious one of the PTB's has rebooted the server. As we are all now playing on the server.

It is important for this server to be a sucess. As if this server dies then pretty much then the continuation of online gaming at BFB is in peril.

Rebooted it earlier so must of done the trick.

Too true! Why can't they just make a game that works

We are having a nice little combo of EA's mainserver crying and the PB-errors.
Good stuff good stuff.

i reinstalled now seems fine, dam beta i think and windows 7 just installing all PB updates
