BC2 low FPS

I play BC2 with a Phenom II quad core and a 5770 and I thoroughly recommend this combination. The game runs maxed out at ~40FPS, so I drop the AA a little so i can average 60. The upgrade isn't too expensive, and it's damn worth it

Ummm upgrading an AM2 nvidia system to an AM3 ATI 5xxx series system would actually be quite expensive In my view anyway.

have you checked you don't have something stupid running in the background bleeding your frame rate?
have you updated your graphics drivers?
hows your internet connection?

Yeah I though of these too, shut down everything I could and ran the game in singal player mode and updated the graphics drivers & no improvement.
