BC2 BFB Stats - all of them

Just for fun earlier today, I created a raw stats page for all the (known) BFB players.

I did this because trying to do compare views and stuff like that is frustrating, and I was curious to see who the biggest noob-toobers were

To be honest the main reason was just because I saw that http://bfbcs.com has an api and I was curious to see what I could do with it!

So, head on over to: http://bfb.russtuff.com/bc2_stats and take a look. It's just one big table with all the stats about your players! Columns are sortable (thanks to jQuery) and also if you click a cell it will highlight the row and column so you can keep track of where you are*.

You'll notice that the stats for most are a bit out of date - this is because it takes a few attempts to get put on the update queue. I've got my server running every 10 minutes to try to keep the stats up to date, but if you want to speed up the process, go to http://bfbcs.com/stats_pc/ichthos (replace with your soldier name) and spam the "Update" link until it shows "queue xxx/500". When that reaches zero your stats will be updated. It is not possible to get on the update queue if your stats are less than 6 hours old.

Pull out some interesting stats - and give feedback if need be.

Have added you... I just copy/pasted the list from the forum post with everyone's soldier names

Site seems very sluggish with Chrome- possibly I'd need firefox, but right now it's rather unworkable

Hmm, it's weird that only Firefox can handle it! There are quite a lot of columns so I can understand it being a bit slow - but in Firefox it works great.

Anyway, you can force "IE mode" by using http://bfb.russtuff.com/bc2_stats/simple - Unfortunately at the moment that's only names and scores but I might add more to that later.

I've added a filter so you can specify which soldiers you want to see... This might work ok for people that are having trouble viewing everything in their browser.

Hmm... I think I'm going have to split it up... I didn't want to reinvent the exising stats sites - rather just put all the stats in one place so people could browse them and have a bit of fun with it.

For now people are just gonna have to use Firefox until I get back from Cyprus... Holiday tomorrow yay
