    Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Launcher and adding BFB to your favourites out of game

    Gossamer's Bad Company 2 Launcher v1.0

    Earlier today a launcher was released allowing you to easily adjust numerous settings without having to edit the ini file. Handy little boxes such as fov setting and dx version are included. A lot of people tend to ask how to change these settings via the *.ini file but this does the job using a user friendly simple interface. It is similar to the launcher some of us used for the beta.

    Features:
    + Directly Launch Bad Company 2
    + Change Every Single Graphics Option (Including Direct X Level, Field of View, Shadows Detail, etc)
    + Clean GUI-based application for easy navigation
    + Works with Steam, Retail, Direct 2 Drive copies and more
    + Many more features!

    Liseda's BFBC2 configurator 1.1

    This is the configurator which was previously used for beta but has now been updated to support retail.

    Attachment 380

    Changelog :
    5/3 - 1.1 - Added FoV, View Distance and updated it for the retail version.
    30/1 - 1.0 - Release, added Anisotropic Filter and Anti-Aliasing.

    Adding BFB-online.com to your server favourites and server history (out of game)

    This will allow you to add the BFB-online.com server to both your favourites and history list without struggling to search/ add it in-game.

    Simply open Gamesettings.ini which is normally located in:

    C: \Users\*username*\My documents\BFBC2\Gamesettings.ini

    Edit the following two lines to the end of the Gamesettings.ini AFTER "FavoriteGames=" and "RecentGames=":
    FavoriteGames=1686852965,710104a6-7d54-4088-9313-3f7cb799d820,BFB-Online.com;
    RecentGames=1686852965,710104a6-7d54-4088-9313-3f7cb799d820,BFB-Online.com;
    Save and exit the document. Now BFB-online will appear first in both the server history and favourites list.

    Mines 55, I haven't changed anything so I assume it's the standard one.

    Hurry up and report back Munster.

    55 seems find to me as gives you plenty of view. still leaves the ability to be knifed from behind but I'm not to fussed about that.

    What do guys think of all the options and fov setting?

    Some people say they verge on borderline exploits especially the undergrowth/ overgrowth settings and some people having a wider field of view clearly puts them at an advantage?
