Using my email address to create a Facebook profile!

Now I am very confused.

I have two emails, one is a more social friend email, and the other is more work/uni email. Both are hotmail.

Now on my social one I use it for facebook/twitter etc..

But today I log on to find someone has created a facebook profile in my work email, I was like wtf, and checked and it looks like no one has been on my email as nothing is opened etc... (I know you can mark as unread)

But I am able to login to this profile and they've got 50+ friend requests and profile pictures and even got a school and work setup on their info.

Now what do I do? and wtf is going on? I really don't want anyone accessing my work email, as I've got some important details in there, I have changed my password. But my old password was very complicated and I only logged in through a safe computer.

Should I report this to facebook? I have deactivated the account and to see what happens.

I'd report it to facebook, not that they'll give a toss.

Do a virus and spyware scan just to be safe, then change your passwords again.

If it's not some crazy haxx0r then it's probably just a mate of yours, ****ing around

I've reported it, and requested Hotmail look at my account, I'm only worried as I kept this email quiet, and it has some quite important bank details etc..

I've had the account booked in to be deleted. Hopefully it'll stop now.

Virus scan runs everyday lol :/

You can sign in to facebook with any of the email addresses you have registered with that account - are you susre you didn't add your other email address as a secondary address?

I am 100% sure this account hasn't been added to my facebook or ever been on facebook.

The account has been reactivated by someone, and I have now reported it again.

I changed my password last night and they still manage to reactivate it.

Very confused atm =/

Only issues with hacked/accessed accounts I've come across has been with hotmail - that's why I always use gmail or my own domain - I just get suspicious that stuff like this and people having spoofed from addresses etc that ive personnaly seen comes from MS hotmail

They will then use this account to try and phish your friends and family btw. So you should make sure it gets removed.
