No power to PC - Haaaaalp!!!

My PC has been turned off for about a week and a half, just sitting in my room with no cables plugged into it (been using my lappy).

I plugged it all in about 10 mins ago, the motherboard lights came on, everything seemed normal, then when I pressed the power button the little blue LED (which comes on when the PC first starts I think) flashed on then off and everything went dead. There was a little sorta click sound as it turned off.

Now the mobo LEDs don't light up, the power button does nothing and I'm pretty sure there is literally no power going to the PC.

I've tried different power cables with no result, so I'm thinking my PSU might have just spontaneously committed suicide

    Spec is as follows:

    XFX 650W XXX PSU
    Asus P7P55D-E
    XFX 5870

    Diagnosis/help pl0x!!!1!

Need a working PC for when Deus Ex HR comes out :|

[EDIT] Something weird/annoying I just realised - the PSU seems to have blown the fuses in all 3 power cables I tried in it. Hopefully it hasn't taken the mobo with it

Looks like your PSU went BOOM.

I keep a backup PSU just as a first testing step.

Could get a cheap psu to test everything, or just buy a new awesome PSU

Yeah, I knew I made a mistake going for a cheapo PSU, it was only about £70.

Suppose it's probably still under warranty actually... not too sure I want another one of these though....

Warranty, or new shiny expensive PSU that I want but don't want to pay for..?

Get the replacement and sell on ebay, spend money on a nice 600w Corsair for £54?

Cheers f, done all that and I'm certain it's the PSU that's dead. Might plug it into my dad's pc later just to be sure.

Sinny - good idea I'd rather pay extra though for a modular PSU as my case doesn't have a great amount of space for spare cables (despite being utterly enormous )

Totally forgot about that, yeah I think seasonic do make them. I think the warranty is about 5 years (although XFX are a bit finicky about registering products online to get full warranty so hopefully I have done that).
