New phone

Hello all.

So the story is that I today have a Samsung Omnia that I'm tired of.. have had it from the beginning of when it came out.. think it's about two years now... So I feel that it's time to do a little upgrade.


I am used with the system in Samsung, have headsets, chargers and other stuff for Samsung, so I'm looking for another Samsung to replace my Omnia.

So right now I'm looking at two different models.. I8910 or M8910.
The main thing I'm after is the camera.. the apps and stuff like that is no problem and nothing I really care about. I only use my phone to take pictures, play music, sms and mms... oh.. and to make phonecalls.

So if you guys have any thoughs about those two phones and what to get it would be lovely.
Right now I'm pointing towards the M8910.. it looks better in my eyes and have a better camera for photos. The I8910 have HD-video recording though.. so I'ts tricky.

Uh...damn saundie, get an iphone dude! the samsung interface is like gaming with a MS intellimouse explorer from 1999.

Blackberry all the way. Same res screen as an iPhone, not locked into apple's tedious itunes, solid email and browsing, full tactile querty, universal compatability; mini usb, expandable memory, can do office, pdfs etc. Plus it doesnt shatter when you drop it. Win Win.

Perhaps I should have posted it before.... I will not get a iPhone based on my keen observation that 95% of all my friends who have a iPhone are a bunch of smucks and almost gets a orgasm when they talk about the phone.

I will not get one of those because I won't ever give my money to apple.
(They make silly and fruity computers that you cant mod or play on... plus I've worked with apple in my job, and they are just a bunch of f-ing tards! ...no harm meant. )

Had a friend who had the I8910 and told me that I'd better get the M8910 if I were looking for a good camera.
So I placed a order on it yesterday. It will be mine within 17 days.

Agreed. Whilst the iPhone has a lot going for it, the iCrowd that follow in Apples' wake is a big put off! Instead look into Android phones as an alternative. Me and Darthy both have the HTC Hero and it really is amazing! If you've got deep pockets I recommend looking into the Nexus One (http://www.google.com/phone). The Sony Ericsson X10i is also a good phone but it isn't out yet but I've played with one and really did like it!

Have a look at some videos of Android phones being used and see if you'd like it or not. It does nearly everything that the iPhone does (minus the iTunes) plus some key features like multi-tasking and speech-to-text (Nexus One - )

AND there's no iSmug stigma involved. It's a win-win situation really.
