This is a refurb, and for the money you get a lot of computer http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/advent...35186-pdt.html

but I would go with this http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/hp-pav...18488-pdt.html

and buy a graphics card and fit it yourself.

My old flatmate at uni has a Medion desktop his dad got him before he went, and its done nothing but break down, it has the most value unbranded stuff inside it. Thats all I'll say.

It's not just about the core parts, psu, ram, dvd rom are all important.

Is there no way you can sell the PC World voucher and buy a PC from a decent supplier? None of the computers on their site represent value for money.

    hello

i would def go for an i5 cpu so you can play anything and later on pop an i7 in if you choose. the one i posted before is the best for money but if you are really worried about it ( i have mine built from PC specialists and i never bother with too many brand names ( when i upgrade etc ) and i never have any problems ) try this one, i personally think its too expensive and would man you adding 200 ish to it http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/dell-studio-xps-8100-650-04144013-pdt.html

it will play games off the mark ( i know its Dell, but looks o.k - ca\n't see PSU though? )
