use the standard iphone headset with an adapter....then you will look cool gaming in the cafe....
seriously, i use the razer hp-1 and like them a lot, but they arent that great, When looking for a headset think about how you will use them, if you travel, get a collapsing pair, if not get something bulky but comfortable. at the end of the day, get something you can return, try them if you like em, keep if not try something else. your price range is reasonable for reasonable headsets so find the one that fits your head and ears and you think sounds good.
As a entry level audiophile i will tell you taht everyone experiences different things when they listen to a headset....i still think my bose lifestyle system sounds great the statement of which would choke most audiophiles
listen, feel, love...then make the decision.
oh yah dont get distracted from the 5.1 and 7.1 sets, they really arent any better then the 2.0 ones as the human ear is only 2.0when putting on headsets to get really great 5.1 you need sw to emulate it. the g35 7.1 logitech ones are a good example, they only have 2 speakers but use technowizardry to trick your brain into 7.1....i will probably buy these because i like technowizardry and am easily tricked by consumerism
