Graphics Problems Help!!!!

Ok guys i need help:
i need to play Mass Effect 2 and Bad Company 2 on lower graphics and screen resolution
on 1280x800 but i have 1440x900 and settings are on normal or low so what needs to change
GeForce 8600GT

You have screen resolution of 1280 but play games in 1440x?
The cfgs already show that you play in 1280x res...
Can't your normal windows res hit 1440 as well? Sort of confuses a bit there so bit more info to what you need please m8

If your after more fps In terms those cfgs I'll link below what you can change but as for res I dunno what your after:
Turned the Dx version onto 9 and not auto as your card is a 8600GT which if I recall it was the 8800's that were more tuned to Dx10 by default. Aniso is 0 completely off now and so is Voip as I bet noone uses it.
As for RenderAheadLimit that can create in game lag with the controls and feel, rendering ahead can help with fps and smoothness but it can also create the lovly mouse lag feel.
Also check your Nvidia control panal settings and see what they are set to also, many people reinstall drivers and forget about them.
