Icon5 What was your first ever gaming rig?

So, as the title says, what was the first PC you ever had for gaming?

I thought it'd be kinda interesting to see what we all started off with, and how things have evolved over the years as I'm sure there'll be a few on here who started in black and white or something

Post the specs, a link and/or some pics if you have any!

    Here goes...

I got my first gaming rig at the beginning of '99 I think, when I was about 7 It was a Dell (boooo, hissss!!) with an absolutely colossal CRT monitor which literally took up almost the entire desk! Not sure about the screen size, but I think it was 17" ish, and not dissimilar to this (although I swear it was even bigger):

    Specs:

    Windows 98 SE
    Intel Pentium III @ 500MHz
128MB RAM (god knows what speed)
12.6GB Hard Drive (that's what it showed, so I imagine it was a 16GB drive or something)
nvidia Riva TNT2 32MB graphics card

Ooh and it had a DVD drive too!

Good times! I think my first ever game on it was FIFA 98

So, take a journey down the timeline of gorkiness and let's see what you had!

This is going to be a great thread! Around 4 years ago, I played on my family computer; Acer Aspire, Pentium 4 3.1Ghz, 1Gb DDR, and a 512mb X1600pro that i dropped into an AGP slot. I'm only 18 mind, and played consoles prior to having this computer (a supercomputer compared to some first rigs!)

1994 and it was a 386 sx 33 the os it ran was dos 6.2 if i remember correctly from all that time ago it might even have been dos 5.0.

i got hooked on x-wing then tie fighter then had to upgrade to a 486 dx 66 and fork out 110gbp to buy 4mb ram so i could play dark forces.
