lets list some of ya fave songs and why!

ok so i may have posted this up on the old site but new site so i thought i would post it again

I love the first song as it crosses modern music with a very classical style of wrighting, if u can hear if he uses alot of classical style scales in here.

Also my other reason for posting it is that i had to learn these songs for uni on my bass Hard as ****, but once learnd was brilliant and our tutor had no idea about it and was shocked when we played to her.

Ill explain that bit she came into the practice session,( part of the time table) and said she was angry that we only had 3 songs and not enough to fill our time slot for the live performance evaluation and was going to fail us and not let us play so i said, Ok we have learned 2 new songs( the other 3 were all our own made) why dont u have listen, so first of we played this, perfectly i might add

I will have to admit the only way we got away with these 2 songs is that i managed to end up in the band with THE best guitarist i have ever met, he literally does nothing but play guitar stydy and driink, that is his life, he hardly sleeps. He is a session musician and has played allover the world. so i got lucky but had one of the best times of my life with him so this is why i chose these songs as some of my fav as they hold special meaning to me


but reast assured i will post some good old cleltic songs up later as fun

I would like this thread to expand and people constantly add new songs they find and like for every one to her serious and funny like this one
