mmmmm i loved the orginal, but not seen any reviews of this?
I played the multiplayer demo, its pretty good
The original is sort of like oblivion. However instead of roaming through the world like on oblivion you move about on a map. The other difference is you can lead an army of 100s of soldiers against other armies instead of fighting group of like 5 bandits![]()
no the orginal was a wierd hash between - 3rd person combat game with an rpg traveling map + comand armies while in 3rd person combat, it was strange but worked a charm..........i really liked it, it needed alot of work to polish it and make more interesting rpg elements and now this new one has multiplayer arean combat.
its £23.47 which is pricey if its still the core orginal game, i would pay £15 for the orginal easily
try the demo ( they usually do one )
love the trading and building up your armies armour and weapons!
thats what i was getting at
Theres some mods around that are worth getting for the original, especially the ones that update the graphics and sounds. They'll probably be ported to warband soon enough aswell, look on the tale worlds forums for em
I beta tested this, it's actually good fun, the multiplayer combat is pretty indepth (axes break shields faster, different swords have different swing times, leading and ranging you're targets with ranged weapons ect). But it can descend in to a chaotic cluster-****, the different game modes can help to stop that happening capture the flag, objectives, and Domination to name a few.
Oh and latency is everything in this game, there's a high learning curve as well but it's an enjoyable brake from the usual multiplayer fps.
