balanced teams is a GAME BUG and im sorry but i dont run around in game constantly checking to make sure the teams are even all the time as no one should, the problem is that when team are not even serveral switch and you still have the problem only now the ppl that swiched cant switch back so your stuck with a unbalance- the only easy thing is that its easy to mess up. so its not as easy as you think as a few have experianced. someone says teams need balanceing so x & y amount of ppl have switched teams and now its unbalanced the other way. the beauty of this is its still unbalanced but now all the BFB members are stacked on one side makin us look worse.

then there the funny requests you give that want us to unbalance as by chance its 12v12 but 80% of BFB members are on one side and you ask some BFB guys to swap side so there are a even amount of BFB members on each side, yes this has happend thus contradicting the above with regards to balancing.

then again at the same time yesterday i was and i was the only BFB on one side and there was 9 BFB members on the other for 3 rounds untill code or comm joined the game (sorry cant remeber who it was). yes we were getting our asses handed to us as 1 round we lost by 90+ point spread now the teams were balanced in numbers but not in bfb member split so what are you supposed to do ?? either way we will look as you say it "bunch of egotistical assholes who dont give a **** about fair play" as we have to either stack bfbers on one side or unbalance it so that one side is not stacked with bfb members so at the end of the day we cant win untill EA fix the balancing issue

personally i like the team being on the team with less aslong as im NOT being baseraped as there are more for me to kill and yes that is just a personal preffrence, the point at the end of the day is autobalance is a GAMEBUG, as where BASERAPE is not i can live with the fact that 4 ppl may leave my team half way through a round or at the beging making it unbalanced and thats why i rage over baserape not balance tbh i get more annoyed at one side being stacked with 8 ,9 10 BFB guys and the other havin 1 or 2 than being 3 players light on my team

Agreed that there is much more to team balance than just the numerics; lets not blow our own horns but a team of BFB guys will dominate a team of pubbies every day of the week, not just because we have some very good FPS players here at BFB but also through the use of TS and BFB's general favour of team play.

I usually take a look at the teams when one team is clearly getting their ass handed to them but as zool says we can't expect players to be constantly checking the scoreboard. BC2 is so much faster in its pacing than previous BF titles that if your on the winning team then your usually so busy talking on TS/res'ing/repairing attacking etc that the last thing you think to do is to check the scoreboard; the game just flows too fast.

I agree team balance has problems beyond the server code basically not working but we can do our part to sort it - it's everyone's responsibility but players shouldn't have to spend their gaming time changing teams and trying to balance a game that 90% of the time can't be balanced anyway. Add to this the cool down on team switching and it does turn into a bit of a nightmare.

I for one am against UCB raping, or camping UCB exits when your team doesn't even hold all the objectives. Once it starts happening the loosing team usually drops to 10/11 players fairly quickly and as I described above the attackers rarely notice until one of the loosing team members starts shouting about it.

Game balance is a problem with this game - once the server code gets sorted I think it will improve - assuming it works like BF2/2142 people will be auto switched on death if their team has more players.

Until then all we can do is be vigilant and try our best to keep the quality of play on our servers high, as we have always done. Blaming specific people is bull**** and just starts arguments.

Having said that, I blame redders.

To play Devils advocate here. I think most of the reason the side is stacked with Bfb'ers or not, could be my doing.

Let me explain. When I see the server console i try to get more or less an even side of BFB'ers on each side. I do not take into acount peoples ability I just want to make sure the teams are not stacked on one side. But when I see a team with far less numbers than the other side I always ask the BFB boys to even the amount of teams up. This could lead to team stacking but all the boys are doing are making sure there are an even number amount of players on each side.

The boys have been fantastic and they will switch when asked to. People like zool, dow, reaps, itchy and many more will often switch as requested to try and get the teams balanced dpending on what side is lacking numbers. So from this point of view I am more than happy to defend the boys.

Also I have been many times against an all BFB side. I think a few nights ago it was either reaps and I and razzy against the whole of the BFB side. They lost 5 times in a row. So wearing the BFB tag and having the ability of some very good players like weets, abby does not always guarantee the win. The problem is besides the BFB team you have a lot of randomers who play sniper and not proactive enough for their side. Combine it with BFB members who will only play sniper then even the likes of weets and abby can't help.

But as mentioned before the boys have been brilliant and never moan when ask to switch sides or balance the teams. Also you can only switch team once and you can't switch when the server is full for obvious reasons.
