Mass Effect 2

I was surprised to see that there is not already a thread for this game! Having played through the original at least three times, I was highly anticipating this release. Thankfully the release date is the same for both PC and 360 versions, so there is no need to wait any longer

I've only been playing for a few hours, but so far my opinion of the game is positive. The Mass Effect save import feature worked without issue, so I am continuing on with my original character.

Does anybody else already have it, or plan to get it?

Can I ask how you got the game? I didn't think it was released in the UK until the 29th? I've pre-ordered through EA and it won't let me unlock it yet

It was released yesterday in the US, so I obtained it from there. Fear not; I have pre-ordered a UK version to remain legitimate, I just couldn't wait to get hold of the game!

Such a cheat Saundie I understand your impatience though. I shouldn't really have bought it, but I have and it has been dispatched First class post, so maybe I'll even get it a day early! I'm going to try to resist playing it immediately though, I know I'll get addicted :\

I am currently running around on level 13 or 14.. got all team members loyal... besides Jack who is a full-blooded retard. I wish I could blow her out of the airlock.

I will start the trend when I get home to post a picture of my Sheppard.

Might get this, even if it's just to try out the Dragon Age armour promo I got with Dragon Age: Origins. (Unless I'm thinking of a different game, in which case just ignore me).

I am currently playing through Mass Effect for the first time as I bought it the other day, and I absolutely love it so far. I expect I'll buy the new one as soon as I've completed the first.
