I really hope that this isn't the shape of things to come!

Imagine that, you are on the point to finish your level when suddenly ... *Connexion problem*. And then you have to do all the level again ...
Scary news ... Ubisoft is diabolic.
Stupid. That is all.
Guys, is it really that bad? How many of us don't have a broadband connection that is constantly on when we game anyway?
I think even the saved game thing is good, because it means your saves are always accessable. Sure, it's quite a big step for DRM and quite a change with how things are done, but what's to hate?
this is complete bullsh*t!! I'm sure Razor will find the way to remove internet connection check.
I won't be buying this anyway...
I dont like the sound of this reeally, but its for the same reason steam irritates me. As u all know i have naff internet connection. which is why i cant even play my offline steam games cause i cant get on steam, If this trend for all games comes and they all have to be online conneced then any one like me will be farked.
Even students, in halls online gaiming was blocked, so people got concoles, only reason i gotonline to game was i got a firewall worm.
So im not the biggest fan of this idea but I guess when i have a reliable broadband connection It wont ever bother me, unless i lose my job and cant afford the broadband then its no gaimin at all![]()
This is ridiculous beyond words. Between the crappy homehub that serves the 8 people in our house (which cuts out every now and again) and BT who havent come to fix the local exchange which is running at 150% (when we get 15kbps download speeds we throw celebratory parties) I aint getting this game.
Doesnt matter how much anti-piracy you throw in there, some determined soul will find a way of pirating it.
Ubisoft quite blatently dont want my money and can in my opinion shove the game up their arse.
The idea of syncing saves is pretty neat though...

Looks like to me that it's the downfall of Ubisoft, not pc games.
My 2 cents
Agreed, its the developers/ publishers who are shooting themselves in the foot in the hope of combatting piracy, all it does is lala us gamers off and leads to less game sales..
The pirates almost always find a way round, it may takes ages but when theres a will theres a way..
