    Tattoo's

    Any of you guys ever get one? If so, what and why? I'm heading off to evil from the needle for a consultation about getting this;

Damn funky black background, here's a link http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...xagram.svg.png

Done on my back between the shoulder blades and was wondering is anyone here had any experience with getting ink!

i have 7 tatts now, both legs, both arms, back, stomach and hip

    koi fish on left arm/shoulder
celtic memorial cross on right shoulder
tribal **** thing on my back
Pepe Le Pew on my hip
naval stars with daughters name and d.o.b on my stomach (never an excuse to forget birthdays when they are tattooed on you!)
tribal piece on my right calf

    and my crowning glory...

Streetfighter sock from ankle to knee on my left leg (Ken, Blanka, Chun Li already done, Dhalsim and M. Bison to go on still)

My advice to you would be, firstly find a good tattooist and not just the local needle jockey. He should be able to show you some of his work and not just flash art in the catalogues that was drawn by someone else. My tattooist has a facebook page with all his work on it (http://www.facebook.com/album.php?ai...&id=1071816615) the beginning of my streetfighter sock is on page 3

Don't rush into the first thing you think you want... its gonna be there for ever, if the tattooist has any suggestions, listen to him... he does this all day every day and if he feels its not going to look right, chances are it wont and you wont be happy with it either

If you get it on the middle of your back, its going to be quite uncomfortable... tattooing the spine is not very nice (better than ribs and inside your arm though!) but stick it out and i am sure you will love the result. Its sort of a burning sensation but stops immediately when the needle is taken out

Stock up on Bepanthen (Nappy cream) and Bio-Oil (scar reduction cream) both available from boots. Use the Bepanthen for the first 3-4 days to stop the scabbing and keep the area clean. After that, chuck on bio-oil for the next week or so until the scabbing has gone. This will keep the colours sharp and bright. As you are having this on your back, you will probably have to get someone to do it for you

DO NOT PICK AT IT, let the scabbing fall off on its own

and hope you dont get something as bad as this...

ive got two of the buggers both tribal, woke up in amsterdam with the one on my right upperarm id honestly thought id been mugged or something big massive surgical pad and loads of blood dripping down from it.

Apprantly id found a design and liked it and had it done then procedded to do a 24hour session in the bars , its a good job it was a known artist and not some mong in a back alley , im really happy with it and how it looks, i was a bit shocked to begin with as it goes from the very top of my shoulder all the way down to my elbow and goes 2/3 of the way around my bicep.

Then on the left upper arm ive got another tribal as just the one looked fecking retarded.

saving up a bit more cash and im going to have one across my shoulders linking them both together.

It's not the size of the hammer that counts, but how hard you smash that damn nail!

    I've got 3 tattoo's:

    Tribal band on left arm.
Barbed wire band on right arm.
8 point star with a skull in it on right shoulder.

Had them all since I was 18 or 19, been planning on getting more for ages, but no idea what so not gone any further.
