Icon14 Lap of the UK by Bike - For Charideeeeee

    Hey guys,

So I know this is probably a shameless plus - and I'm not expecting much from it, but two friends of mine are doing a "Lap of the UK by bike" over the next 10 days, starting tomorrow.

... Motorcycle may I add. Perhaps you are thinking that this is not that hard, driving / riding round the UK. However, the time / cost for the guys to do this, plus the fact that sports bikes weren't made with comfort in mind, is something to commend.

So anyway, that leads me onto the begging bit. I know everyone is broke and probably has people begging them for money left right and centre. However - if you find some money that you want to put to a good cause (Help for Heroes) - this is the easiest way to do it. I know Ian / Nick will appreciate it. Even just a s-quid-let helps.

Information on their route can be found on their facebook page:

    Sponsoring can be done here:
    http://www.justgiving.co.uk/alapofbritain

And they can be followed on twitter here:

    Thanks for reading.

That's such a cool thing to do, I'd love to have a go, although my current bike struggles to do the 70 mile round trip of my daily commute.

Nah its a complete lap. Round the outside, so yes they'll hit Lands End and John 'O Groats, they're going round the outside, so all the way around Wales, Scotland and back down the right hand side round Norwich etc.

The route they have planned is on the Fagbook link. Have a looksy
