    lordgeordie, there's something called exposure times the longer it exposes the more light comes in, so it means that even in the evening you can take bright pictures provided that your hand is steady (recommended to use a tripod or something). Besides those micro pictures didn't need a flash. It looks that it was bright enough in the kitchen.

    Ab - i know about exposurer times matey, i took an SLR cause linked to my degree, back in the day of 35mm actual film cameras lol ( yes that long ago think we bought a 2 megapixel kodak for about £399 back then ) i am just interested in how well it performs as my girlfriend is a conservator working on museum objects and asked can it handle close ups on objects in very low light ( as in museums ) i don't know the ISO settings of this camera.

    aye but must admit those close ups look ace still ( it seems i am a macro whore lol )
