How the hell have you managed to lose 6lb again, MG? Have you replaced all of your drinks with laxatives or something?
I'm now 176lb, so only 1lb lost since last time. The fact that my weigh loss has slowed so much is to piss me off now![]()

I go every ten days now without weighing myself, first day i eat between 3000 - 3500 calories and have a little treat then the following 5 are a normal diet and exercise consisting of 2000 calories a day then for 4 days i go low carb consisting of 1500 calories a day and it seems to be doing the trick. Done this for the past 20 days now and lost 12lb.
Been doing more weights aswell got myself a 16kg kettlebell to add to my bar and dumbells.
Got my registration in for the Great North 10k.
I weighed myself this morning; 176lb still. I ate over 7500 calories over the weekend and did no exercise, which probably contributed to that. On the plus side, I will get my exam out of the way on Friday and the weather is improving, so I'll be back out on the bike at the weekends.
Great work MG & THRUSHER67 - let's hope you can keep it up!

Another alternative approach to weight loose is for first 2/3 weeks is to build up muscle first with no cardio using a 4 day week routine. You basiclly work couple of muscle groups 1 day, a different group next day and so forth with each workout been around 30mins odd but cause its focused on a small area each day you do more.
Idea been is that muscle burns more calories even when your not doing anything, so what I do when going into weight loose is to build muscle up for 3 weeks then gradually increase cardio while reducing weights after that period.
Many people find this method easier than just going out and ripping the road up with countless runs an bike rides. But everyone is different so gl to u all![]()
