I read something ages ago about these now computer designes where it is just a metal board which is a mobo and u literally just plonk ya components on it and its connected, im not sure if this thing is one of those but this lookis wierd as hell to me, but slightly cool and pant moistnening also :D

cool looking desktop i see it was designed by BMW for Thermaltake
by the way its an actual case not a open case test rig
I personally think it's ugly. Besides, you can get a quad core gaming machine for that price.

Ah I remember seeing this in the crazy case thread on our old site. To me, it looks very cool but I would not want to own one even if I was paid to do so (OK that's slightly untrue). I mean, the design is pretty awesome with the way it stores each individual component but you could buy a far tidier-looking case for less than a quarter of the price.

The Lian Li one looks cool, very futuristic. Still, i can't see why anyone would pay over the odds for a case when the extra cash can be applied to components. People who buy these have more money than sense.
